For secondary schools

Bring Latin dance
into the classroom

I run Zumba-style Latin dance fitness sessions with secondary school students across North Dublin — combining high-energy movement, cultural education and a touch of Spanish into one unforgettable hour.

Teacher testimonial
“Susi did her class with our Transition Year students and they absolutely loved it! Some of them were a bit shy at first but with Susi's wide variety of Latin music and beats everyone was shaking their hips and following her instruction in no time. We will definitely be doing more classes with Susi in the future — we are even thinking of incorporating it into our PE classes!”

Why it works

Benefits for your school

Gets everyone moving

No PE kit required, no skill barrier — students who avoid traditional sport often thrive in a dance environment.

Cultural education

I share the Colombian and Latin American roots of each dance style, turning it into a cross-curricular experience.

A touch of Spanish

Basic Spanish phrases are woven into the session, making it a natural tie-in for language classes.

Fits any timetable

Sessions run for one hour and can slot into PE, wellbeing, or Transition Year schedules.

One-off or ongoing

Great as a single taster event or as a recurring term-time programme.

No experience needed

My warm, patient teaching style means even the most reluctant students end up on the floor.
